Baptisms at Flaghead Chine

We had an incredibly sunny day for Sarah and Lucy's baptisms. Sarah's testimony was very touching as she told us about how she had thought she was living as a Christian, until she went to Soul Survivor and then realised that it was a false faith that she had; living as a Christian on the outside bus not on the inside. She gave her life to Christ and since then has felt guided by God, especially in regard to her future.

Lucy told us in her inspiring testimony that she had found Jesus at Crusader camp, Spree, when she was baout 12 years old. She was also healed of neck pain at Soul Survivor and afterwards felt special and knew that God was looking after her.

These testimonies show how young people are encouraged and strengthened in their faith at these big events.

After a shared lunch of ploughman's and some lovely puddings we went down to the beach at Flathead Chine.

Sarah was baptised first with our pastor, Ben, and the curate of St. Paul's, Christine Brooks.

Then Lucy was baptised with our pastor, Ben, and Trisha Foote.

They both came up out of the water to the rousing cheers of family and friends. It was a wonderful occasion and we pray that God will bless them both as they journey with Him in the years to come.
