On Saturday 19th November 2011 the Prayer Group organised and went on a trip to the Swindon Outlet Mall. This had been an idea which we thought would bring the neighbours together, enabling us to get to know them better. We prayed a lot about the trip and eventually set off @ 8.30 a.m. with 26 on board our 32 seater coach, (It should have been 27 but unfortunately Margaret was unwell with a bad cold). On arrival a group of us had coffee together and then some of the men amongst us went off to visit the railway museum, meeting up with us again for lunch. We had a great day hunting for the bargains and everyone enjoyed the day out. The feedback has been good and people would like to do something similar again next year. It was a great way to meet people we didn’t know and felt God’s presence was really in this community project. Lyn Alexander
